Got a question? Of course you do! Check out our FAQs and hopefully all will be revealed…

We take our social responsibility very seriously and therefore, due to the ongoing pandemic, we have implemented the following measures in connection with all of our city games in all locations:

  • One booking per game (i.e. you will not meet/play against other unknown groups)
  • Liquid hand sanitiser available to guests on arrival/departure
  • All game materials thoroughly disinfected before/after each game

We also kindly ask all players to practice proper social distancing throughout.

What are these city games?

Our city games are clever & exciting games in which you need to walk (or perhaps run!) around a small area of the city solving clues, breaking codes, finding people/things & much more. Each one is different but they all have an immersive back story and an end goal, and are suitable for players of all ages. They can also be seen as a fun & stimulating alternative to a traditional city tour as they incorporate many of the main tourist attractions.

Where can I play these games?

At the moment we organise games in Gdańsk, Sopot, Warsaw, Kraków & Toruń. We will also be adding games in Wrocław, Poznań & Bydgoszcz in the very near future. For all news and developments, keep an eye on our Facebook page.

How many people can play these games?

In order to run any of our games, we require two paying players.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, there is a temporary limit of 8 players (2 teams) per game. Under normal circumstances, there is no limit to how many players can play in one game at the same time. We are capable and have extensive experience of running games for 200+ people.

Do I need any special clothing or equipment?

No, just dress appropriately for the weather conditions and that’s it. We’ll provide everything else. All game materials are thoroughly disinfected before/after each game.

How long does one game take?

It depends on the game (and how good you are!) but, typically, they are designed to take no longer than 90mins. Add in an extra 20-30mins for briefing at the start and debriefing at the end and you have a maximum of 120mins.

Should I be worried about getting lost?

No, the games take place in a relatively small area of the city centre and every team is provided with a detailed map. If you still manage to go off course, simply call our game team on the emergency phone number provided and someone will come and find you asap.

How do I book and pay for one of these city games?

Easy. Simply select your preferred date/time on our booking calendar, add your contact details and send. We will get back to you with a booking confirmation and reference to present at the game’s starting point.

Due to the ongoing pandemic & the need for social distancing, we feel obliged to implement a one booking per game system. This means that you will not meet/play against other groups. Hopefully, this is only a temporary situation.

Full payment is taken in cash (local currency) at the game’s starting point. Unfortunately, we cannot currently accept card payments.

What happens if the weather is really bad?

It doesn’t happen often but if the weather, on the booked day and at the booked time, makes the game unplayable then we will happily reschedule you for another suitable day/time. This may not always be possible during busy periods or if your stay is a short one but, rest assured, we will try our best to organise it.

Will cars stop for me if I run blindly across a road during the game?

What do you think? Please please please play the games in a safe way at all times. We will not be held responsible for any personal injury incurred during a game.

Can I like the Undercover Facebook page?

We thought you’d never ask 😉 By all means, you can do that here >>>
